I regret not becoming president' - Former US vice president, Joe Biden...

Former Vice President Joe Biden spoke candidly on Friday about his decision to stay out of the 2016 presidential race, saying that while he still believes he did what was best for his family, he also regrets not becoming president.
Biden said this as he spoke at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, saying,
“I had planned on running for president and although it would have been a very difficult primary, I think I could have won. Maybe not, I don’t know.”
He continued to say he “lost a part of his soul” when his son, former Delaware attorney general Beau Biden, died in 2015 of brain cancer.

Biden was visibly emotional while talking about his late son, calling him “the finest man I’ve ever known in my life.” He said while he doesn’t regret spending time with his family rather than on the campaign trail after Beau’s death, he still thinks about what could have been.
“Do I regret not being president? Yes,” he said.   The former vice president has previously hinted he may pursue the presidency in 2020.

Chelsea 1-0 Man U (Antonio Conte's men advance to semifinal after harsh Herrera red card).......

It was another sad night for Jose Mourinho as he lost to Chelsea 1-0 in the FA cup on his second return to Stamford bridge since taking over the reins at Manchester United .

A quick fire goal from the most unlikeliest of sources- N'Golo Kante shot into the net from 25 yards beating David De Gea on the far right .
United were without stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic , Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial so opted to start with youngster Marcus Rashford upfront. Herrera was sent off for a foul on Hazard having been booked earlier leading Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte to quarrel on the sidelines .

Mourinho's men hold out and avoid conceding more goals despite a Rashford effort that nearly gave them an equalizer .

Chelsea fans buoyed by their imminent win of the game after the red card, finally attack Mourinho after he complains about a foul, by chanting ‘f*** off Mourinho’ and ‘It’s All Your Fault’referring to his sack from Chelsea last season. He responded by gouging them all in the eye reminding them that he won them three title.

Chelsea will now play Tottenham in the FA cup semi final while Arsenal will face Man city .

wow see Hon. Kelechi Nwogu's humanitarian gestures and love for the poor and needy...

Apart from the scholarship schemes, skills acquisition programs, football competitions, and special amenities provided by Hon. Kelechi Nwogu for Omuma youths, women and men. There are other ways Hon. Nwogu has also directly touched the lives of vulnerable folks, extremely poor, and physically-challenged people in Rivers State, and that is what I will focus on in this piece.
During the 2016 Mothers Day Celebration, Hon. Kelechi Nwogu hosted some women, especially poor widows in Omuma LGA, he gave them cash gifts to start up small and medium scale business to help their families.

Yesterday, Monday 13 February, 2017. The state lawmaker representing Omuma Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Kelechi Nwogu met with youth corps members serving in Omuma LGA, he gave them cash and food items, he also promised to keep supporting and helping youths corps members serving in Omuma.

Today, Tuesday 14 February, 2017, Hon. Nwogu chose to show love to orphans and children with disabilities to mark St Valentine's day. He visited The Special Child School in Corpus Christi Cathedral, Port Harcourt, he presented food items, toiletries and cash gift to the school authority. He also declared that 10% of his salary every month till he leave office will be sent to the school. He shared some happy moment with them, including cutting of cake.

Hon. Kelechi Nwogu moved to Omuma to show love to people living with disabilities, cash and food items were graciously given out to them. He also pledged to be sending them money on monthly basis. In his remarks, the lawmaker said "Valentine's day celebration is not primarily about immoralities and escapades with the opposite sex but to show genuine love to humanity."

The lawmaker ended the Valentine's day celebration with an inspection tour of the General Hospital, Eberi Omuma that is under construction, which is his constituency project.

What a way to celebrate St Valentine's day.
